Sales and Delivery Conditions 1. Prices The prices quoted for tea are subject to confirmation for each kilo at a minimum order of 2 kilos per variety (Speciality teas 1 kg to 1.25 kg or per item), duty and tax paid + VAT. 2. Waste disposal Prices do not include return and disposal of packaging and crates. 3. Delivery Free delivery: for orders worth at least € 250.00 excl. VAT. Charges apply: for orders under € 250.00 excl. VAT within Germany. Please ask about delivery to other countries. 4. Packaging Fluctuations in weight of 5% more or less in packs and original chests may occur and are no grounds for complaint. Packing units may change while the annual catalogue is still valid. 5. Discounts When ordering tea chests (approx. 5 - 40 kg net), please inquire about the applicable daily rate. Discounts may be provided to customers who agree to annual bulk orders, except for special offers. Otherwise our general terms of business apply. For initial supplies we allow one-off discounts, which are negotiated individually. 6. Brakage insurance For all items susceptible to breakage we add breakage insurance to the customer’s invoice. The current premium is equivalent to 1.5% of the net value of the merchandise. 7. Delivery times Goods are normally available for dispatch within three days. 8. Payment 30 days net after invoice date, or 10 days less 2 % cash discount after invoice date via bank transfer or direct debit. For new customers the first delivery is COD or via cash in advance. 9. Complaints Complaints can only be considered if any defects are reported within three days of receiving the goods. Food items of any kind cannot be returned if the original packaging has been opened. In case of a justified complaint the goods must be packaged properly and returned free of charge (i.e. you advance the cost of the postage). We do not provide any credit amount for loss or damage of returned goods in transit. Consignments without or with insufficient postage will not be accepted.
