| La Pacho |
The home of the Lapacho tree is in South America
predominantly Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. The tree grows to a considerable height and can reach an age of 700 years. Its mass of blossoms
is a delight for any observer.
For the commercially available Lapacho tea, the inner rind of the tree is peeled off and processed;
the tree forms new tissue in replacement. In that way, the older layers are moved to the outside,
thus increasing the tree's protection.
