The best way to make tea is to place it loose in a glass pot, add boiling water and let it brew (with green tea you should keep the temperature lower). This enables the leaves to unfold properly and release all their flavour. Once it has had time to draw, the tea is then poured through a strainer into a regular teapot.

Unfortunately, people do not always have the time for all this so they use paper filters, permanent filters, cotton filters or one of many other utensils. Those who still insist on their cup of tea when they’re on the go, simply use a paper filter for a single cup.
